Core Living Ranks No. 801 on the 2020 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America

NEW YORK / MINNETONKA, MINN. — August 12, 2020 — Inc. magazine today revealed that Minnetonka-based property management company Core Living has made the annual Inc. 5000 list for the second year in a row — a list that is widely regarded as the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Core Living lept 307 places from last year’s No. 1108 ranking to land at No. 801 on the 2020 list, boasting 593% growth over the past three years.

The Inc. 5000 list celebrates the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment — its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000. This year’s honorees had 165% median growth and $209.7 billion in total revenue. These businesses also added 582,670 jobs.

Core Living is a sister company to Roers Companies, which is ranked as the Twin Cities’ fifth-largest developer by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Both companies share a headquarters location in the Minneapolis suburbs. Core Living manages approximately 3,000 multi-family units in six states — a majority of which were built and owned by Roers, while also offering third-party management services. The company’s impressive growth trajectory also landed Core Living on the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Fast 50 list of the most successful private businesses in the Twin Cities in the past year.
